1.El ámbito del concurso es internacional. Cada participante puede presentar tantas obras como desee, habladas o subtituladas, siempre que hayan sido realizadas con posterioridad al 1 de enero de 2008, y que su duración no exceda de 30 minutos.

4. NORMAS DE INSCRIPCIÓN
Para participar en el Certamen de Cortometrajes del 16º Festival Internacional de Jóvenes Realizadores de Granada se cumplimentará íntegramente la ficha de inscripción mediante el modo de Registro on-line disponible en la web del festival www.filmfest-granada.com(OBLIGATORIO).
Se debe enviar además vía correo postal o courier la siguiente documentación, indicando en el sobre con claridad el título del cortometraje y el nombre del director/a, con el número de registro asignado en la web en lugar visible:

5. El Comité de Selección del Festival se encargará de visionar y proponer los cortometrajes finalistas a concurso. Los gastos de envío correrán a cargo de los participantes, no así los gastos de reenvío de las obras seleccionadas, que correrán a cargo de la organización del Festival debiéndose indicar la dirección de la devolución. Las copias DVD recibidas quedarán en poder del Festival para su archivo, formando parte de la Biblioteca especializada dependiente del FIJR de Granada (sita en C/ Verónica de la Magdalena 23, 2ª planta-Concejalía de Juventud Ayuntamiento de Granada) y difusión en los circuitos culturales adecuados.
6. PREMIOS
7. Las obras seleccionadas serán proyectadas públicamente durante los días decelebración del Festival, de acuerdo con un calendario elaborado con antelación, entendiendo que los autores o productores de las mismas, por el hecho de participar, otorgan su autorización para tales proyecciones. La organización podrá elaborar folletos informativos sobre los cortos que se exhiban. Los productores de los cortometrajes autorizan también al uso de un fragmento de las obras (máximo de treinta segundos de duración), para su difusión en cualquier medio de información.
Las productoras de los cortometrajes que obtengan premio o mención en cualquiera de las categorías cederán sus derechos de reproducción para la edición de un DVD con carácter de promoción y difusión del palmarés final.
8. La organización del Festival velará por la integridad de las obras que se presenten. Se suscribirá un seguro que cubra el valor material de las obras, durante el tiempo que estén en poder del festival.
9. El jurado estará compuesto por profesionales del ámbito cinematográfico, quedando a su disposición declarar algún premio desierto, así como otorgar alguna mención honorífica no especificada en estas bases.
10. La participación en el Festival implica la total aceptación de las presentes bases. Todos los premios estarán sujetos a las retenciones que establece la normativa vigente y a los plazos de pago que establezca la Organización.
PROTECCIÓN DE DATOS.
En cumplimiento de la Ley Orgánica de 15/1999, de 13 de diciembre, de Protección de Datos de Carácter Personal, se informa al titular de los datos personales que los mismos van a ser incorporados a un fichero automatizado y tratados para difusión cultural. El titular de los datos tiene reconocidos los derechos de acceso, rectificación, oposición y cancelación, que podrá ejercitar mediante el envío de un e-mail a info@filmfest-granada.com

4. RECOGIDA Y DEVOLUCIÓN DE COPIAS DE PROYECCIÓN
La copia de proyección de las obras seleccionadas, serán enviado por el interesado en el plazo solicitado por la Organización y su coste será a cargo del interesado. La devolución de la copia será realizada por la Organización inmediatamente después del Festival, y su coste correrá a cargo de Festival Internacional de Jóvenes Realizadores.

4. ENTRY GUIDELINES:
In order to participate in the Short Film Competition of the 16th International Young Filmmakers Festival of Granada, the on-line registration form must be fully completed. It is available at http://www.filmfest-granada.com

5. The Festival's Selection Committee will view the films presented and select the finalists for the competition. The postage for sending in the selected films must be paid by the participants but the Festival will pay the postage for the return of the films. A return address must be clearly indicated. The DVD copies received will become the possession of the Festival , as part of the video library dependent FIJR GrAnada (located in C / Verónica de la Magdalena 23, 2nd floor, City Council Youth Council of Granada) for its archives and dissemination in suitable cultural circuits.

The selected works will be shown publicly during the Festival, according to a schedule decided in advance, with the understanding that the authors or producers of the films authorize such screening. The organizers have the right to create informative brochures about the shorts shown. The producers of the shorts also authorize the use of a fragment of their film (with a maximum length of thirty seconds) for dissemination in any information medium. The producers of the short films that win awards or special mention in any category must grant reproduction rights for the making of a promotional DVD about the winners.
8. The Festival will protect the integrity of the works shown.An insurance policy will be purchased for the film’s material value, for the time it remains in the Festival’s possession.
9. The jury will be comprised of professionals from the film world. The jury may decide not to award one or more prizes or to give a special mention not specified in these rules.
10.Taking part in the Festival implies the total acceptance of these rules. The prize money amount is subject to the legally-established tax obligations and the payment will be made within the period determined by the Festival?s organizers.

1. PERSONAL INFORMATION:
The Directors or Producers contact information supplied in the registration form may appear in publications related to the Festival or other collaborating festivals. Such information will be destroyed immediately if an e-mail is sent requesting such destruction info@filmfest-granada.com).
2. PAYMENT OF PRIZE MONEY
The Festival must receive, in order to pay the prize money:
* Original document issued, signed and stamped by the bank specifying the bank account information of the prize winner.
* The prize winner?s Fiscal ID code (for companies) or National Identification Number (for individuals).

The Screening format of the selected works will be sent by the applicant within the time requested by the Organization and with payment by sender. The return of the copy will be made by the Organization immediately after the Festival, and its cost will be borne by the International Festival of Young Filmmakers.
